Community Training Project

This project is aimed at supporting 16 unemployed and economically inactive migrant women, such as those who do not have access to government benefits. It will help them become competitive in the labour market through a blend of experiential and active learning, one-to-one and group learning sessions focussing on job skill training and certification, confidence-building and English language lessons, financial literacy, and digital skills development.

Through this FREE virtual training programme, you can gain qualifications to work in either the health / social care sector, or in the hospitality / culinary industry. You can choose to be trained as a carer through the ‘The Carer Certificate’ offered by Flexebee, or be qualified with a City and Guilds Level 3 Food Hygiene Safety for Supervisors.

You are eligible for this if you are currently unemployed and not receiving any government benefits or economically inactive, and living in the area of Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromfield, Enfield, Greenwhich, Newham, and Waltham Forest.
