Empowered women empower others. ✊
This is the belief we at Kanlungan hold and foster, since our inception 25 years ago (!). A great number of the immigrants we work with and represent are overseas domestic workers and health and care workers, a majority of whom are women. Their stories of resilience in the face of never-ending changes and challenges, while being dutiful mothers, sisters, daughters or wives to family, inspires us in spirit and in action.
This month, we celebrate them. 💜
The Art of Manifestations workshop invited moms and their kids to find individual and connected purpose through the process of creation.
Treat Yourself! is a day of well-deserved relaxation, self-care and a return to self as her own woman.
Our ESEA Women Filmmakers showcase heralds short films made by ESEA women, which will also launch a monthly Film Club aimed at highlighting our peoples’ often hidden voices and stories.
Launching on 26 March is the ESEA Women’s Network, connecting women with each other, to their power.
#InspiringInclusion means having the confidence to stand firm within your rights, if only to remind others of their own feet. Come and celebrate the strengths and joys of womanhood with us and help us doing the continued work of empowering others!
